Iž Island is one of the many islands in the Zadar archipelago, ideal for escaping the crowds and for those who love unspoiled holidays. Iž is also known for its pottery, and the nearby Telašćica Nature Park and Kornati National Park add to its charm. The island of Iž has only two settlements on its northern side, Mali Iž and Veli Iž. The island is well connected to Zadar, with the ferry port in Bršanj just a few minutes' drive away and the catamaran terminal about 1.5 km away, which can also be reached on foot along the coast.
